Make Homemade Pretzels, They’re Really Easy And Delicious
I watch a lot of Food Network. A LOT. So when Husbando told me we might be going to Jeff City to attend a St Patrick's Day party, I got overwhelmed with ideas. I knew that we really should have a bunch of finger food to kind of pick at. So the first thing I thought was: Pretzels.
You can google and find all sorts of different recipes for these, but I took the easy route, which I'm pretty sure I got from Delish. Basically all you have to do is get a can of biscuits, and cut each one into fours. Then, you roll them up into balls and score them with a knife. That'll take a little longer than you think, but not terribly long. While you're doing that, you want to have some water in a pot, boiling. When you're just about done with your rolling process, put a fourth of a cup of baking soda in the water. Then you put each ball in there, maybe three or four at a time, and boil them for a minute. Next, take em out with a slotted spoon and put them X up on your baking sheet. Then, you take some egg wash, brush some over each ball, salt em, and put them in a 425 degree oven for about fifteen minutes, or until they get good and brown.
Simple, right? Right. So I'm going to bring that and maybe something else. The question, though, is - what else should I bring? Husbando says I should make up some of the Trisha Yearwood buffalo chicken dip, but I'm not sure. What do you think?
Pretzely yours,
