On Monday April 19th Open Door will be opening late to reach people in the community who might not be able to come their normal hours due to their work schedule.
It's always good news when you find deer hunters donating their venison to the state’s Share the Harvest program, and this year the donations topped out at 238,920 pounds. This total included 4,787 whole deer.

As much traffic as we encounter in Sedalia you would think we had pretty much every fast food joint and restaurant available in or around the city limits. Unfortunately, that's not the case but it would be interested to see more businesses move into the State Fair City.
So many times most of the citizens of Sedalia and the surrounding area don't think there's much going on around the area. Well, one location is seeing event after event...that's the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
