Flour Recall in Missouri Due to Possible Salmonella Contamination
It's time to check your pantry especially if flour is a part of your cooking recipes as there's a voluntary recall due to potential Salmonella contamination in Missouri.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, General Mills in Missouri has recalled several different varieties of flour. The FDA bulletin included the following UPC codes to look for.

Why is this recall being done?
The FDA issued the following statement about this voluntary recall from General Mills:
The recall is being issued for the potential presence of Salmonella Infantis, which was discovered during sampling of the five-pound bag product.
It's important to note that this recall is not connected to any reported illnesses. It's simply a precautionary measure to insure there's no contamination in products that made their way to store shelves and into people's homes.
