I have no idea why we have so many coffee mugs in this house.

You know how it is, it's a little thing you get a gift at Christmas or something. It starts with a couple of novelty mugs in our house.

Then it breaks into the sets.

Then a few souvenir mugs....

It just doesn't end.

But here's the thing.  We don't even drink that much coffee.  There's a little dust on our coffee machine, definitely.  At work I don't even drink that much coffee!  WHY SO MANY MUGS.  I can't help but think it's taking up some valuable real estate when it comes to my counter tops.  But... you can't just get rid of em, can you? Do they have a "donate coffee mugs" program somewhere I don't know about? I seriously think I could just pare this down to maybe like... ten mugs and that would be MORE than enough.  If we used them to drink non coffee or hot chocolate, I could justify it.  But we have other glasses that we use for other drinks.  And Husbando doesn't even use the mugs or glasses... almost never.  He drinks Propel out of reusable plastic bottles.

So what should I do?  I can't have a garage sale in the middle of winter, and.. does anybody even WANT just a bunch of coffee mugs?  I can't imagine anyone to be like, "You got about thirty coffee mugs you don't use? I'll take em, that'll even out  my collection" or whatever.  Maybe there's a secret coffee mug collector I could find? Is there a secret coffee mug conspiracy to make sure that every household in America has at least ten to twenty coffee mugs?  I don't know.  I just know I probably need these out of my kitchen cabinets.

Muggingly yours,

Behka
