Baby Chet Is WMMC’s First Baby of 2021

It took a day and a half but Western Missouri Medical Center's first baby of 2021 is a boy. Baby Chet, born to Carly LeLievre and David Kellum of Knob Noster, made his world debut at 2:58 PM CST on January 2, 2021.

Baby Chet was delivered by Dr. Jason Snowden, M.D. and weighted 6 lbs and 10 oz and was 18.5 inches long. According to a press release from Western Missouri Medical Center baby Chet, Carly and David are doing well.

In honor of being Western Missouri Medical Center's first baby of 2021, the WMMC Auxiliary presented the parents with a gift basket from the Wishing Well Gift Shop and flowers from Corner Floral.

“It gives me joy to give their family this basket,” said Sharon Franklin, WMMC Auxiliary President. “I am grateful to have been presenting these baskets to the first baby of the year for 20 years. Congratulations to the parents!”
