Three Females Injured in JoCo Crash
Three females were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2016 Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 16-year-old female from Warrensburg, was on Missouri 23 at Spirit Boulevard around 6:15 p.m., when the driver attempted to turn left, and traveled into the path of a northbound 1992 Chevy 4CC pickup, driven by 25-year-old Aleksey V. Lyle of Knob Noster.
The pickup struck the front passenger side of the Jeep.
Injured were the driver, and her passenger, 18-year-old Derrisha C. McKenzie of Whiteman Air Force Base. Both had moderate injuries and were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD. A passenger in the pickup, 22-year-old Megan K. Agler of Knob Noster, suffered serious injuries and was also transported to WMMC for treatment.
The Chevy pickup had extensive damage, while the Jeep was totaled. Both were towed by Tip Top Towing.
WAFB Police, Knob Noster Police and JoCo Sheriff's Deputies assisted the Patrol.
