Kemp Named DAISY Award Winner at WMMC
Morgan Kemp, RN, has been named the DAISY Award winner at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Morgan's nominator said: "Morgan stood out to us from the start. Her smile and laugh is contagious, and she is wonderful to people 1000% of the time. My dad is the most important person in my life, and she treated him with the upmost respect, love and kindness. She really deserves this award for her kindness alone. On top of being kind, she was quick to respond when my dad's heart rate went up. She showed concern instantly, and it made our entire family feel more at ease knowing he was well taken care of.
"As she was checking my dad, she kept us at ease by answering any questions we had, and chatted with us a bit, keeping the mood light in our time of fear. Morgan has a wonderful bedside manner, and I am thankful for the special light she has showed us. I had my four kids with me the next morning, and there she was, smiling & sweet. She really deserves this award. Everyone has truly been wonderful, kind and super caring!"
