Why the Sedalia Christmas Parade Is In Jeopardy This Year

The Sedalia Christmas parade might not happen this year if the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce does not have a minimum of 65 entrants in the parade by this Sunday, November 15.

As of this morning, Friday November 13, the chamber says they have 46 entries into the parade. The chamber is seeking local marching bands, floats and performers to join the parade, which is being themed "Christmas at the Movies".

If you'd like to sign up your group for this year's Christmas parade you can do so here. There is a nominal fee to participate. And participation information and guidelines can be found at the entry link above. This year's Christmas parade is scheduled to step off at 6:00 PM CST on Saturday December 5.
