The Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce's Christmas Parade will be held in Downtown Sedalia on Saturday, Dec. 3.

While the parade starts at 6:00 p.m., preparation for the largest parade of the season will start well before that, officials said.

The parade route starts at 7th Street and S. Ohio Avenue and proceeds north on Ohio Avenue to Main Street before turning east on Main Street to travel and disband around S. Massachusetts Avenue. Blue pedestrian barriers will protect the parade route this year. In order for the City crews to start placing multiple safety barriers, please note the following timeline:

2:00 p.m.: No vehicles are allowed to park along S. Ohio Avenue from 7th Street to Main Street. Cross streets (excluding 3rd Street and Main Street) and alleys along the parade route will be blocked.
