Where Will You Find Incredible Fireworks Displays on the 4th of July?
We've been lucky to have some amazing fireworks displays in the area over this past holiday weekend. Now for the 4th of July, where can you find some other locations where the professionals take over?
The Sedalia Chamber of Commerce will once again present a great fireworks display at the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
If you're feeling the need to travel across the Show-Me state on the fourth, according to the website onlyinyourstate.com, there are some other locations to get your fix.
In Columbia, it's Fire In The Sky. The view is perfect with entertainment and activities for kids at Peace Park and Flat Branch Park (just a few blocks apart) beginning at 6:30 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at 9:15 p.m. and are choreographed to a music simulcast. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
In Kansas City, it's the annual KC Riverfest at the Richard L. Berkley Riverfront Park beginning at 4 p.m. Parking is first come, first-served and costs $10 per car or you can take the free shuttle from City Market. Admission to the event is $5 but free for kids 12 and under. Fireworks will begin after sundown.
In Jefferson City, Salute To America, is the state's largest fireworks display. 17 city blocks are involved. Carnival rides, food vendors, talent shows, live performances, a beer garden, and other activities are planned. Fireworks around 9 p.m.
Last but not least, in St. Louis, it's Fair Saint Louis. Jake Owen will be in concert with the fireworks display at 9:35 p.m.
