Sedalia Police Reports for July 26, 2024

Wednesday evening, Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Police Department to speak to Tessa Feeback. Feeback reported a past hit and run accident that had occurred at the Econo Lodge Truman Inn, 3501 West Broadway Boulevard. Information was gathered for a report.
Thursday evening, Officers responded to the area of South Wagner Avenue and East 12th Street to investigate a report of a subject present with a warrant for their arrest*. Officers made contact with the subject at his back door, and placed him under arrest. Douglas Christopher Burlingame, 56, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
Officers were dispatched to an injury accident that occurred in the area of East 16th Street and South Engineer Avenue Wednesday afternoon. Officers were informed that one of the drivers’ licenses were revoked. Krystal Ann Ivie, 36, of Columbia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. The vehicle was towed, and Ivie was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked.
Wednesday afternoon, Officers responded to the Embassy Sober House, 322 West 7th Street to investigate a disturbance. An intoxicated subject had been reportedly cursing at nearby individuals and was repeatedly falling to the ground. Joseph Elmer Fore, 41, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest. Fore was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 12-hour safekeeping hold.
Sedalia Police responded to the intersection of West 32nd Street and South Grand Avenue to investigate a motor vehicle accident Thursday morning. The male driver of one of the vehicles fled from the scene on foot. An Officer located and arrested the suspect. Juan Samuel Figueroa Hernandez, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested on charges of Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Operating a Motor Vehicle On the Highway Without a Valid License, Displaying the License Plates of Another Person, and Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.
Thursday morning, Officers were dispatched to Rudy’s Smoke Shop, 3040 West Broadway Boulevard, in reference to a theft. On arrival, Officers gathered the information on a past theft. A report was submitted.
Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of West Main Street Thursday afternoon in reference to a report of property damage. Officers collected information from Christian David Marsch, and photographed the damage.
