The first of two Holiday themed trains from major freight railroads will arrive in Kansas City at Union Station on Sunday, December 4.

Canadian Pacific's Holiday Train is back for its 24th year supporting food banks and food shelves across their network by raising money and awareness for food insecurity issues.

This free event in the Haverty Family Yards at Union Station kicks off with a special pre-holiday train event with a performance by Kansas City's own Snow Globes and the Kansas City Current Women's Soccer Club from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Attendees will see the Snow Globes perform, and have an opportunity to meet Alex Loera, Addisyn Merrick, Cassie Miller, Hailie Mace, and Mallory Weber from the Current.

The Holiday Train will arrive in the Haverty Family Yards at 6:45 PM and the Candian Pacific Holiday Train Performance starring Lindsay Ell and JoJo Mason is scheduled from 7:00 PM - 7:45 PM.

Canadian Pacific is encouraging people to donate online to the local Harvesters Community Food Network in Kansas City and is asking those attending the free event to bring a donation of non-perishable food items to the event. Harvesters will also be accepting monetary donations at the event.
