Boys and Girls Club

Nineteen teams spent a day on the links for a good cause Saturday, with the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri’s Putting “Fore” the Kids Golf Tournament.

Here's a look at what's going on in Sedalia this weekend!

A lot of people like to be outside in the summertime.  Sports and outdoor activities seem to go hand in hand with these warmer weather days.  The Boys and Girls Club wants to get you out there too, and get you involved in one of their biggest fundraisers of the year.

For the last five years, every summer we've  been lucky enough here in Sedalia to host an annual Firefighters Memorial Bike run.  This year, it looks like we're going to get an even bigger and better event that will take over all of Sedalia!

Thursday, June 12, several members of the Boys and Girls Club were in the parking lot of the Thompson Hills Shopping Center.

The Boys and Girls Club are trying something a little bit different this year.  Normally they have an annual 5k walk and run, their "Race for Reasons" - but this year they thought they'd shake it up a little!

The Boys and Girls Club are preparing for a big, new event coming up. Already it's been a huge success, and everyone is getting hyped up for their first ever Glow Run.

On Friday the 13th of June, the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri GLOW 5K Run/Walk will take place, presented by GNC of Sedalia.

Around this time of year a lot of you are thinking about basketball. We're doing a bracket challenge here - but there's another great bracket challenge that will help our local kids with the Boys and Girls Club!

The Boys and Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri had their huge event, An Evening of Heart and Hope, on Saturday (February 8). I got to go and it was a hugely fancy event with lots of laughs, love and helping hands.
