State Fair Community College’s The LearningForce and the Missouri Job Center are seeking area employers to participate in a job fair on September 11.

According to SFCC, area employers are being sought to share information and interact with potential employees at a Job Fair scheduled from from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus.

Registration is $25 for one five-foot table and two chairs. Online registration is now open through September 4.

Exhibitors may begin setting up at 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 11. A designated area will be available for attendees to complete applications and for exhibitors to conduct on-site interviews. SFCC says lunch will be provided.

“The Job Fair connects our students and community members with local and regional employers,” said Amy Jackson, The LearningForceexecutive director. “The fair provides employers the opportunity to showcase their businesses and organizations, and we encourage them to come and recruit employees for their companies and businesses.

“In addition to the fair, State Fair Community College offers employers a web platform for job posting and outreach. Employers can visit collegecentral.com/sfccmo to create a free user profile and post any job openings they may have. This site is great for employers to connect with our students, list job openings and provides our students with a large database of job opportunities.”

For more information or to register, call 660-530-5822 or visit here. The job fair is free and open to the public.
