Enjoy a Ragtime Christmas Concert in Blackwater with Bob Milne

Kids, for those of you who are getting a little tired of hearing the same music everywhere you go, there may not be much room for other music at the holidays. 

I know when I go to the store, I hear the same ten songs over and over again, and sometimes they're even the same version!  So if you want a little culture, maybe you want to get the heck out of town, or you want to try something different, why not head on over to Blackwater.  Blackwater has a great, very involved local group down there that puts on local performances and historic playlets and such.  And, they often will host concerts.  One coming up this weekend will be Bob Milne.

He's doing two concerts this weekend at the Blackwater West End Theater. He's one of the foremost ragtime players out there, and he'll be there on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are only $13, and you know that it'll be a good show.

We hear some ragtime around here during the Scott Joplin festival, but that's in the summertime! When you need a little something different, it's now - in the thick of Christmas music time. Here's a taste of what you can expect:
