I Don’t Think We Need Any More Plastic Containers, Thanks
I don't know about you, but I hate the idea of wasting food. I do not throw out leftovers - only if they go bad do I throw them out. Until they do, we're gonna be eating leftovers, that's just the way it is. Anyway, I was reheating some duck I made last week when I realized that probably a good ten containers in my cabinet look like this.
You know what it is. It's the Chinese delivery container. It makes me wonder, how many times have we ordered delivery? And how many times can you re-use these things, anyway? I imagine they can't last forever, eventually the bottom splits or something.
Looking through the cabinet, though - those containers seem to be just about the only ones with a lid. What in the sam scratch is going on here? I have like, four proper lids that go on containers, and then these. Where do all the lids go? And why is there a random lid with no match? I thought we went through these and took care of this. No containers without lids!
Eugh. I guess we'll have to do it again. This was a very entertaining blog post, I'm sure. Can you detect the sarcasm? 'Cos it's there.
How many of these do you have? Do you have the no lid/no match problem, too?
Deliveringly yours,
Behka
