City Trash Collection Schedule Adjusted due to High Temps

Due to hot and humid summer temperatures, the City of Sedalia has announced that trash collection times have been slightly altered.

According to the City of Sedalia website, 'in an effort to provide uninterrupted trash service to City residents, while also protecting the well-being of sanitation crews, trash collection start times will be adjusted half an hour earlier, from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.'

The altered times will take effect Monday, June 19. The earlier start-time will remain in effect until further notice.

Current collection routes will remain unchanged, unless there is a scheduled holiday. For more information, call the Public Works Department at 827-3000.
