I guess we better relish these nice days that we're experiencing because it looks like more "winter-like" weather is on the way.

A winter storm is becoming more likely this weekend with periods of rain during the day Friday transitioning to freezing rain and eventually snow. This transition will occur as colder air moves south and undercuts warmer air aloft, giving the region the likelihood for a period of freezing rain, before the cold air deepens and transitions precipitation to all snow Saturday morning. Ice and snow accumulations are expected with the heaviest ice accumulations coming Friday evening and overnight and the heaviest snow accumulations during the day Saturday.

Sunny, with a high near 51. Southeast wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Increasing clouds, with a low around 44. Breezy, with a south wind 11 to 16 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 60.
