Winter Weather Still the Main Focus for Your Friday

A winter weather advisory is in effect until 6 pm for our area. To the southwest there's a winter storm warning in effect.

Message of the Day:

• Winter precipitation is moving into the area this morning

• Precipitation will start as snow before changing to sleet and/or freezing rain and then to rain from south to north (see page 2 for timing details)

• Friday AM commute will be impacted with hazardous conditions likely with areas north of I-70 having hazardous conditions thru tonight.

• Locations south of I-70 should be above freezing with rain by late afternoon

• Some minor flooding is possible late today into Saturday

• Saturday Morning temps will drop into 20's, refreezing anything still wet
