Looking at the week ahead, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Pleasant Hill is calling for rain in the forecast for the latter portion of the work week.

Today-Scattered sprinkles between 10am and 1pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 54. South southwest wind 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
Tonight-Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 37. West wind around 6 mph.
Tuesday-Sunny, with a high near 60. Calm wind becoming west southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 41. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph after midnight.
Wednesday-A chance of rain after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. South wind 6 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday Night-Rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 50. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Thursday-Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58.
Thursday Night-Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.
Friday-Partly sunny, with a high near 44.
Friday Night-A chance of rain before 8pm, then a chance of rain and snow between 8pm and 10pm, then a chance of snow after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
