But...I still seem to have a whole dang tote in my pantry that is full of these things. FULL. And I could take them to the People's Republic of Walton, but... well. You know what happens, don't you? I forget. Every. Time.

Earth Day is Saturday, April 22nd! Here are few events to celebrate.

They'll have authentic food (I saw in the video last year they had Honey Cake).... I wonder if they'll have borscht or deruni.

Just like that Christmas list Timmy started last May. If you run out of ideas for his Birthday, just get one off the Xmas list you forgot. Same thing here! Only, you know, with a charity that needs your help.

I guess you could imagine people moving from table to table based on what is actually being played on it. Mahjong? Poker? Sternhalma? Old Maid? Dominoes? Go-Stop? Checkers? Uno?

The event will be February 21st, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Yeater Lobby of the State Fair Community College. Now is your time to get volunteering!

She works to get volunteers to foster animals  - not just cats, but dogs, too.

And while I'm not arguing that we could always have more fun stuff to do, particularly for the young people... this weekend, you have no excuse.

Human blood is required to save the lives of people suffering from accidents and disease millions of times each year in the United States. There is no way to manufacture human blood outside the body.

The amount of smarts, business acumen, hard won experience, and sheer talent in that room every year.... it's a great place to learn a little something.
