Sedalia ‘Healthy Living Action Group’ to Offer Free Lap-Swimming at Liberty Park Pool
The Sedalia 'Healthy Living Action Group' will host lap-swimming on Thursday, August 17, as part of the 'Moving 101 Community Health and Wellness Initiative.'
The free event will take place at Liberty Park Pool, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Liberty Park Pool.
“This is an opportunity for people to get a great low-impact workout while they cool off during the ‘dog days’ of August,” said Melissa Boeschen, community outreach coordinator at Bothwell Regional Health Center and chair of the Healthy Living Action Group. “Moving 101 is about giving people a reason to get out and get moving and have fun.”
All the Moving 101 activities are free and open to the public.
Liberty Park Pool is located at 1600 W. 3rd Street.
