Paws for a Cause to Benefit Warrensburg Animal Rescue Tonight

If you're looking for a date idea for tonight. Or you're looking to get out and have some fun with your friends. Warrensburg Animal Rescue can help. It's Paws For A Cause tonight at Milestones Barn in Warrensburg. You'll not only get a fun night out, you'll be helping save Warrensburg's Old Drum and Friends Animal Shelter.

The evening features Heartland Dueling Pianos, and is being billed as "an event filled with fun, raffles, drinks, food and an auction."  On the menu is herb chicken, baked brisket, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, homemade cookies and mini cupcakes from 112 Farmhouse Kitchen.

The 21 and over event is this evening from 6:00 PM CDT - 10:00 PM CDT at Milestones Barn, 380 NW State Route 13, Warrensburg.

It's not an inexpensive event. Individual tickets are $60 or you can buy a VIP table of eight $480. It is a fundraiser and  all of the evening's proceeds benefit Warrensburg Animal Rescue to Save our Shelter.

If Paws for a Cause isn't your thing Warrensburg Animal Rescue has some other events scheduled in the next couple of weeks including a Dog Walk a Thon hosted by Phi Sigma Pi Alpha Chapter at UCM this Saturday at 9:00 AM CDT. And a Trunk or Treat on Friday October 30 at 121 Farmhouse Kitchen between 5:30 PM -7:30 PM CDT.

According to their Facebook page Warrensburg Animal Rescue is "the new 501(c)(3) that formed to Save Our Shelter. This page was created after the news that Old Drum Animal shelter would be closing due to budget cuts. Together we can Save Our Shelter (S.O.S)!"
