Wednesday, Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be
possible in the afternoon. Isolated brief heavy downpours and gusty
winds are the primary concerns with any strong storms. The greatest
chances will be across central Missouri.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between noon and 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88. Heat index values as high as 98. South southwest wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
