I Don’t Know If I Wanna Try This Sunburn Cure
A lot of people get sunburns this time of year. It's not super-hot yet, so you don't think you need sunblock. But you DO. So remember to put some on whenever you're outside. And yes, even when it's all cloudy and rainy like it has been lately.
After all, you don't want to be like me, with a constant level of sunburn from mid April through early October. If my back isn't peeling at any given time, it's probably not summer. Sorry, that's gross. For the most part, I just avoid it by wearing long sleeves or something, but that little bit of sun gets through, and it's enough.
Me, I tend to use aloe vera and other methods to help cure a sunburn's painful burn.
But now.... there's a trick that can help if you DO get a sunburn.

A cold compress using MILK instead of water can take some of the pain away and speed up the healing process. It helps cool your skin down. The vitamin A and vitamin D help you heal. And the lactic acid acts like an exfoliant and gets rid of all the dead skin.
Just lightly soak a washcloth in milk and put it directly on your skin. Or you can use yogurt and spread it on like lotion.
I mean, you could. If you wanted to. I won't be. I'm too afraid of like, smelling of milk at all times. I already have enough of a complex. I don't need to be walking around constantly worrying if I smell like cheese or something.
Milkily yours,
Behka
