A Wet Way To End Summer

As we head towards the first day of fall and officially end the last days of summer, rain enters the forecast for the Warrensburg/Sedalia area.

A few degrees cooler today with a slight chance for storms through midafternoon. Storm chances will increase Friday and especially into the weekend as a stalled front will allow for several rounds of heavy rain to move through the area both Saturday and Sunday. Heavy rain will lead to increased flooding and flash flooding concerns, along with local river rises and possible river flooding.
