The Sedalia Community Educators’ Association recently awarded four $250 scholarships to Sedalia School District 200 staff members who are continuing their education. Receiving the awards were Michelle Hofstetter, Tricia White, Niki Kelley and Tymme Johnson.

Hofstetter, counselor at Washington Elementary, has been in education for 13 years and is working toward her master’s degree in counseling education at the University of Central Missouri. She plans to graduate in 2017.

White, Kelley and Johnson all are in their first year with the Sedalia 200 district. White, a paraprofessional at Sedalia Middle School, is pursuing her master’s degree in special education through Ashford University, with plans to graduate in 2018.
