The Champions Professional Football League (CPIFL) is ready for their second season to start. Last week the CPIFL issued the 2014 football season schedule. The league added one team, the Dodge City Law. However, they lost both Missouri teams for this season, Mid-Missouri Outlaws and the Kansas City Renegades.

The Champions Professional Indoor League recognized exceptional players in the league this week by announcing the All-CPIFL Team. These players were recognized by opposing team coaches voting for them in the position they played. Eight of the ten teams in the CPIFL had players that were recognized for their efforts.

Rumors have been swirling about what the next step is for the Mid-Missouri Outlaws after going 0-12 in their debut season in the CPIFL.  According to multiple Outlaws players, the team will not be competing in the CPIFL next year.  Instead, they will return to the Central Plains Football League, an outdoor league the Outlaws debuted in back in 2007.

The Mid-Missouri Outlaws traveled to take on the Omaha Beef on Sunday afternoon (May 5) and lost 68-13. The Mid-Missouri Outlaws are in the midst of the most grueling portion of their schedule, taking on the top three teams three weeks in a row.
