The Mid-Missouri Outlaws will finish up their grueling three games versus the top three teams in the CPIFL this week. The Outlaws lost to the Wichita Wild 82-9 on Saturday, April 27, then lost to the Omaha Beef on the road on Sunday, May 5, 68-13. This week, the Outlaws travel to take on the Sioux City Bandits on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Bandits are currently tied for 3rd in the league with the Salina Bombers at 5-2.

The Outlaws will have to figure out a way to halt the Bandits' rushing game. They lead the league with 102.4 yards per game, with Johnny Bentley leading the team with 319 yards total. The Sioux City Bandits quarterback Scott Jensen has thrown for 15 touchdowns this season for 106.3 yards per game. The Bandits three big receivers are Eddie Pertilla, Damon Mothershead and Frederick Bruno.  They collectively have all 15 touchdown receptions for the Bandits.

The Outlaws will have a tall order to fill in gaps on defense since they will be without the services of Colton Miller, Jajwan Shields, Jeff Clancy and Tenney Barber. Coach Pallo says that he will rely on some of the younger guys to step up and take charge defensively. Offensively, Pallo is hoping to capitalize on the addition of running back/wide receiver James Cody, and continue to spread the ball around since quarterback Damien Dunning did complete 15 for 102 yards last week.

Coach Pallo said the Outlaws will need to come into the game ready to play hardnose football, limit big plays and protect the middle of the field.

Here is a look at all the games coming up in Week 10 of the CPIFL season. Week 10 of the CPIFL season kicks-off with Bloomington hosting Kansas City on Friday night in a critical game for both clubs that are both 4-4 on the season. On Saturday, Wichita (8-1) hosts Salina (5-2), Kansas (1-6) visits Oklahoma (2-6), and Lincoln (3-4) travels to Omaha (6-1).
