The State Fair Community College Theater Arts put on their biggest musical ever this past weekend, 'Young Frankenstein.'  I was lucky enough to get to not only go to the show, but also the dinner theater!

I'd heard from the cast and crew, and so I knew to expect a fun, irreverent comedy. I've also seen the movie about seven thousand times so I knew I was going to have a great time. Boyfriendo and I got to go down on Saturday night's show, complete with the dinner theater beforehand. They served some amazing food like Monterrey Chicken and ribs and some dynamite cheesecake.

The entire student staff from ushers, box office staff,  and the folks who did the dinner were all just amazing.  I'll admit I was a little nervous - I knew I was going to be doing a cameo in the show, and I just didn't wanna mess it up!

Anyway, I managed not to and the show went off without a hitch, getting laugh after laugh from the sold out audience. I took a few photos before and after the show to give you an idea of how great the whole night was.

I just wanted to say thanks to all the cast and crew, who were so nice and sweet to me throughout the whole process from pre-interviews to backstage jitters. Also thanks to Eric Yazell, the director, and the box office manager, Krysta Busekrus for giving me the chance to not only see the show and enjoy the wonderful dinner, but also to be it for just a second.

So keep up with what's going on out with the State Fair Theater on their website. There will be an improv comedy night coming up that you might wanna check out, too!

Frankensteinly yours,
Behka
