Kids, we here in Sedalia keep up with what's going on around here.  But sometimes we gotta remember that there are lots of other great towns in and around our listening are, and they look out for their own just as much as we do in Sedalia.

So I wanted to be sure to mention an upcoming event that's NOT in Sedalia.  It's in Lincoln!

True, that's not far away from us, but sometimes it can be really hard for some people to get out - either they're ill or they don't have transport, or there can be a number of really good reasons.

The Ozark Tabernacle Pentecostal Church will provide a Christmas Dinner for those without family, shut-ins or those who can’t afford a traditional Christmas meal.  It’ll include a menu of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans, stuffing and a roll with dessert.  It’ll be held on Saturday, December 22 from 1-3 p.m.  at the Lincoln Community Building by the Reverends Johnny and Kathy Medlock.  For more information, call 660-351-2084 or 660-596-2075.

So, if you know someone who needs a meal or if you need one yourself, why not check it out?  At least pass on the word to someone who might need it.  After all, every little bit helps, you know.

Merrily yours,
