One of the most sought-after holiday experiences in Kansas City and West Central Missouri is making a comeback for its second year and I can't believe I'm telling you about it.

I can't believe I'm telling you about it because tickets are hard to come by, and well I want to go. So, if you score tickets, you either have to take my date and me or at least toast me with your friends since I gave you the heads up.

I'm talking about Winter Skies. It's the Winter Wonderland-themed dining experience held high above Kansas City in the historic Skies Restaurant with 360-degree views of Kansas City. Skies is located atop the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center, the old Hyatt Regency Hotel.

According to Skies Kansas City's Facebook post this year the pop-up holiday bar has partnered with Restless Spirits to offer a winter cocktail menu that they call "as elegant as it is festive." Additionally, they say they're elevating the experience with a "Winter wonderland theme that's bound to captivate your senses."

Food is also being added to this year's experience, which wasn't part of last year's experience. Skies say it's offering an expansive food menu that pairs perfectly with the pop-up bar's dreamy ambiance.

Skies is saying tickets go on sale October 30, and they have two exclusive launch dates: Thursday, November 16, 2023, and Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Those lucky enough to score reservations for Winter Skies, which go on sale October 30, get a three-hour window offering guests plenty of time to watch the world go by 42 stories above the city.

If you ask me, this sounds like a great way to kick off the 2023 holiday season!
