Watch: What It Takes To Run T-Mobile Center Will Make You Tired

I may have been a weird kid. Cause I was the kid that got excited when the grounds crew rolled out the tarp after the ballgame. Or had an interest in what the carnies had to do to set up the rides at our church carnival. Or even how they changed the floor at Chicago Stadium from an ice rink to a basketball floor to an astroturf surface depending if the arena was hosting a hockey game, a basketball game, or indoor soccer. So yeah, I was excited to see this cool timelapse video shared by the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City detailing all the changes T-Mobile Center did to accommodate their events this March. In case you're wondering 173,000 people visited Kansas City's T-Moile Center in March to see a variety of events including the Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament, Pro Bull Riding, Disney On Ice, and concerts from Korn, Tool, and Journey.

The arena used 1,000,000 pounds of dirt for the bull riding event. 13,000 gallons of water for Disney's ice surface. And employees of the T-Mobile Center worked 17,500 hours to clean and convert the area from event to event in March. They also set up and removed 6,000 seats between March 5-27. Here's their video:

That's a lot of work that goes into making the arena run. And I don't know about you, but when I watched the timelapse video of all the changes I got tired just watching it.

As we head into the spring, it looks like the staff of the T-Mobile Center might get a little bit of a breather. Jim Gaffigan plays tomorrow, April 1, Santana has a concert scheduled on April 12, and then Megadeth and Morgan Wallan play back to back on April 29 and April 30 respectively.
