Two Injured in Morgan County Motorcycle Wreck

Two people were injured in a motorcycle wreck that occurred in Morgan County Saturday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 47-year-old Eric Y. Smith of Lincoln was the driver of a northbound 2012 Honda Goldwing on Route 135, one-half mile north of Wolf Lane in Morgan County at 10:14 p.m., when the bike struck a dog in the roadway, ejecting both riders.

Smith and his passenger, 54-year-old Donna R. Plummer of Sedalia, suffered serious injuries and were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Mid-Mo EMS.

The motorcycle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.
