Looking for something to do tomorrow? How about heading to Lion's Lake and going fishing with a firefighter? You can do just that starting tomorrow morning, August 3, from 8:00AM - 12:00PM CDT.

Johnson County Firefighters will be at Lion's Lake, 518 Southwest Boulevard, Warrensburg, and you don't even need experience fishing! The firefighters will be happy to bait your hook and remove your catch. They're also providing fishing polls, fishing tackle, and bait. So all you need to do is bring yourself!

In addition there will be a bounce house available for the kids and the American Legion is providing lunch at noon. The Missouri Department of Conservation has also suspended the need for participants in the event to possess a valid fishing license.

The event is open to anyone as the group's flyer says they'll welcome children, veterans and children at heart. So really, if you've ever wanted to fish but never had the opportunity... if your kids want you to take them fishing but you're clueless about it... this may be the time to check it out.

Warrensburg Firefighters Local 3923 is hosting Fishing with a Firefighter. If you'd like more information on the event you can contact them on Facebook here.
