Social Security Says ‘Noah’ and ‘Emma’ are the Top Baby Names From Last Year
Here are a couple of lists expectant parents will want to take a look at. Some might want to use them for ideas, others might want to avoid them at all costs. It just sort of depends on the parents' point of view. Social Security has released their lists of the top baby names from 2016. There are some familiar names at the top of the lists. Not just because they are common names, but because they've both been number one for multiple years.
According to Social Security, Noah, for the fourth year, was the number one name for boys. Emma, for the third year in a row, is the number one baby name for girls. Of the top 10 baby names for boys and girls, only one new name made the list: Elijah, which came in at number nine on the boys' list.
