Think Branson Is Exciting? Wait Until You See It In Wintertime!

When it comes to small towns, Missouri has quite a few of them.  The population of Sedalia isn't more than 22,000.  You may not think about a big tourist attraction like Branson Missouri as a small town, but it is.  The population isn't much more than 12,000 people.  But it is a place you can visit year round, and in the wintertime, it is just as active and vibrant.  Don't believe me? Let me share these options to prove my point.

Branson Ferris Wheel

The Ferris Wheel in Branson, is a popular destination that is open year round, weather permitting.  As long as you are not afraid of heights, you will get an amazing view of the landscape around and it can look as magical in the winter as it does in the summer.  The Branson Ferris Wheel has 40 gondolas with 6 passengers per gondola. We certainly know that on occasion, the winter can be brutal.  You will possibly spend more time indoors.  If that is the case, here is another cool idea.

Castlerock Resort and Indoor Waterpark

This waterpark is located inside the Howard Johnson's by Wyndham hotel.  The waterpark has Thrill and Cork slides, as well as a lazy river, indoor pool, activity pool and a simple indoor pool. Website link is HERE for more info and booking info.

Now if you like to brave the outdoors, how about a hike?  Try this option:

Table Rock State Park

This Missouri state park, which you can learn more about HERE, has 6 different hiking trails for you to check out, and depending on how much snow is on the ground, might be a wonderful view for you as well as get some exercise.

Visit Historic Downtown Branson

You can certainly enjoy many of the holiday events that will be happening. Certainly shopping should be on the docket in one of many stores that are unique to Branson.
