Welcome to another Throwback Thursday!  Last week, I shared with you a group of songs that were turning 20 years old in 2022.  If you missed it, you can click HERE to see it and hear the songs again.  So today I am going back even further, and sharing some songs that were popular 25 years ago in 1997.  I bet you might remember quite a few of these.

Kenny Chesney - She's Got It All     Kenny will be playing Arrowhead Stadium this summer and I bet this song still makes the setlist.

Neal McCoy - The Shake      I had the honor of meeting Neal a few years ago when he did a show in Jefferson City.  He never has a pre-determined set list.  He just wings it.  But he is still an amazing entertainer and he could not have been nicer at his meet and greet with the fans.

Tim McGraw - It's Your Love    Just one of the duets he has done with his better half Faith Hill.  They still perform together.  This song is still terrific.

Michael Peterson - Drink, Swear, Steal & Lie     A two-hit wonder in the world of country music, but he did get to play this song on the 1998 CMA Awards show.

Trisha Yearwood - How Do I Live     Trisha recorded this song and so did LeAnn Rimes.  Both songs proved to be successful.  She still has an amazing voice.

Sawyer Brown - Six Days On The Road    Title track from this album.  Such a fun band and remember, they won Star Search! Think of that show as the precursor to American Idol.  Love their music.

Martina McBride - A Broken Wing    A 4-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and her voice is so powerful.  It is really highlighted in this song.  Enjoy this ballad.

Clay Walker - Rumor Has It     Good to see Clay still making new music and touring this year with Tracy Lawrence.  Made his hay day in the 90's and this song is still a gem.

Shania Twain - From This Moment On     Shania has become an icon.  This tune (ballad with Bryan White) and the video is still on her setlist for her Vegas show.  In my book, she can do no wrong.

Garth Brooks - Two Pina Coladas    How many of you heard him perform this song at Arrowhead last summer?  Plain and simple, one of the biggest stars in the history of music.

So each one of those songs turn 25 this year.  How many did you recognize?  Enjoy another Throwback Thursday and perhaps add these songs to your 90's playlists.
