Thanksgiving Dessert-Store Bought or Homemade?
Of course after you've stuffed yourself with two helpings of Aunt Martha's cornbread stuffing, numerous slices of turkey, cranberries, oyster dressing, mashed potatoes and turkey gravy, sweet potatoes and hot rolls, (Is it just me or are you getting hungry, too?) it's time to loosen the belt and get ready to delve into dessert.
Do you buy it from the bakery shelve or do you take the time to prepare it at home. Pumpkin or Pecan Pie? Whipped topping or Cool Whip? Cheesecake or Carrot cake? Aunt Jane's Dutch Apple or a more traditional approach with Mincemeat? (BTW...what the heck is a mincemeat, anyway?)
Whatever your course of action, enjoy it with friends and family, and be thankful!
