Six Arrested in Moniteau County Drug Investigation
Authorities in Moniteau County arrested six people on drug charges this week after serving two search warrants.
The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department says deputies along with members of the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed two search warrants at two separate properties on Waking Acres Road.
The warrants were served as part of an ongoing investigation that law enforcement have been working on in recent months. Upon serving the warrants, officers located several suspects at the locations and secured them.
After searching the two properties, authorities reportedly located methamphetamine, paraphernalia, drug packaging materials, scales and firearms.
Six suspects were arrested and charged with a variety of offences.
32-year old Walter Carlson, of California, MO is facing charges of Distribution of a Controlled Substance (meth) and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. He also had an outstanding no-bond FTA warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
The suspects below are all facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance:
- 49-year old Stacey R. Muzy, of California, MO
- 18-year Cammi R. Muzy, of California, MO
- 20-year old Aaron L. Goodenough, of California, MO
- 34-year old Bryan Burns, of St. James, MO
- 47-year old Richard S. Hedges, of Lake St. Louis, MO
The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department says the investigation is continuing and additional suspects have been identified, with further arrests expected.
