The Today Show just shared interesting profiles of the 4 farmers that are featured on season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife on Fox and one of them calls Sikeston, Missouri home. His name is Ty Ferrell. He's a 42-year-old farmer who's also quite a roper.

Ty told The Today Show "It’s hard to find, especially at my age at 42". He also explained that most women in his age range don't want the same rural farm experience that he does. That appears it's about to change.

Ty's situation at his Sikeston, Missouri farm is unique as he has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. During his time on Farmer Wants a Wife, 5 women will come live with him.
