Sedalia Chamber of Commerce to Host 4th of July Celebration

Do you have any plans for the 4th of July? If not the Sedalia Chamber of Commerce has stepped up again this year with plans for a great evening of fun on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

It will be fun for young and old as the gates open on the fairgrounds at 6:00 p.m. with different activities scheduled for the kids.

At 6:30 p.m. American Legion Post 2591 will provide the Presentation of Colors, and at 6:40 p.m.,Sedalia native Brendan Hurley, will sing the National Anthem.

Then the festivities kick into gear at 7:00 p.m. as Dirt Road Addiction hits the stage for musical entertainment until 9:00 p.m.

As the sun sets the excitement level increases as the fireworks begin around 9:30 p.m..

Various vendors will be on-site for food and fun throughout the course of the evening.
