Saturday, September 19th the Sacred Heart Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Camdenton to play in their annual tournament.

Sacred Heart began the morning playing pool play vs Camdenton and losing 13-25, 24-26. Next up was Battle from Columbia and splitting 24-27, 25-21. The last pool play match was against Branson 21-25, 13-25.

In the first round of tournament play Sacred Heart played Winona and lost in three sets 26-24, 23-25, 20-25.

"I certainly felt like we played better than our record reflected from the weekend. On paper we went 0-3-1 but we came away from the weekend learning a lot about what we need to work on in the next several weeks as we prepare for our end of the season tournaments.

"I’m not disappointed but rather excited about what this team is capable of doing. We are blessed we had the opportunity to play volleyball.

"Our record is now 6-4-1.

"Next up we head to conference schools Green Ridge on Tuesday, Sept. 22nd and Stover Thursday, Sept. 24th, commented head coach Marlo Siron.
