Sacred Heart Varsity Volleyball traveled to Bunceton Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The Sacred Heart Gremlins defeated Bunceton in three sets 25-3, 25-19 and 25-8.

Freshman Sammy Altena lead the Gremlins with 12 Assists, 4 Kills and 9 Aces. Freshman Emily Hesse stepped up and had 5 Aces and 3 Kills.

This brings the Sacred Heart Varsity to 3-0 on the season. Their next match is at home Wednesday, Sept. 9 vs Sweet Springs. Senior night celebrations will be held between the JV and Varsity match. JV tips off at 5:30 p.m.

For those Gremlin fans attending home games there is no limit on the number of spectators attending the game, you must enter and move around the building with your mask, but once seated in your designated area may remove your mask while respecting social distancing.


 

In other Sacred Heart sports news, the girls golf match scheduled for today at California Country Club has been rained out.
