The Sacred Heart Girls Soccer Team kicked off their season last night in Stover Missouri at the Lady Bulldogs Soccer Jamboree.  

In their first match, Sacred Heart held the Stover Bulldogs to one goal in a hard-fought match.

Allie Finney was able to pull an offsides trap three times to keep the bulldogs away from a scoring position.

Brooke Epple made four big saves stealing opportunities from Stover.

The Gremlin's defense busted six shots keeping Stover from scoring.  Sacred Heart lost the first match to Stover, 0-1.

In the second match, Sacred Heart dominated the Smithton Tigers with several scoring opportunities.

One of these opportunities finally put the Grems up,  15 minutes into the match.

Shae Smith scored on a shot assisted by a pass from Ximmena Lopez.  The Gremlins tied the second match 1-1.

The Gremlins play next at home March 31 at 5 p.m.
