Senior Night Ends With Loss to Northwest
The Lady Gremlins lost to the Northwest Mustangs Monday night after just splitting with them last week in a game at the Conference Tournament.
Though they lost the game, it was a good night to celebrate three seniors: Ellie Coruna, Emily Hesse and Captain Sammy Altena.
Ellie & Sammy led the night with 7 digs, while Hesse led with 20 serve receives for their last night on the McGremlin gym as a Sacred Heart Volleyball Player. Altena also led the team in kills with 8 and Sophia Carney had 7 for the night.
Emilee Jackson led the team with 2 blocks, and Junior Avery Epple led the team with 10 assists and went 12 for 12 from the serving line leading the team in serves and points.
JV lost in three tight sets, Mary Butner led the team with 7 kills, Kieran Cahill with 5 aces, Paige Diller 6 digs, Molly Brown 3 blocks and Paisley Carl had 5 assists for the Gremlins.
The Lady Gremlins played Cole Camp Thursday night.
