The Pettis County Extension do a little bit of everything.  They offer all sorts of services to people in agriculture, kids working for the future, and to all the people of Pettis County. The Pettis County Extension offers education about agriculture, gardening, nutrition, health, financial aid,  family help, and great activities for the kids with 4-H.  They will have their fourth annual Dinner and Auction on March 13. The event will be at the Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3700 West Broadway, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.  The menu consists of ham and brisket, cheesy potatoes, green beans, corn, salad, roll and dessert.  I got to talk with Kay Sparks of the Pettis County Extension about the dinner, the silent auction, the live auction, and all the businesses and groups that have pitched in to make the night unforgettable.

Proceeds will support all Pettis County Extension programs.  Adult tickest are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.  For children aged 5-10, the cost is $4 in advance or $5 at the door.  For tickets, stop by the Extension at 1012 Thompson, Suite A or call 827-0591.
