The Mozark Music Festival has put tickets on sale for the first of a few premium music events they're bringing to the Missouri State Fairgrounds leading up to their inaugural Mozark Music Festival the weekend of September 20, 2024. One thing is for certain, the ticket price to see the Ozark Mountain Daredevils at their Peace Love & Halloween event on October 29, 2022, is premium.

Tickets are now being sold for the show and are priced at $57 and $62 a ticket. There are no added fees, as well as free parking at the Matthewson Exhibition Center where the show is being held. Those who purchase tickets now, during the Missouri State Fair can get $5 off the ticket price by using the code "mofair" when they buy their tickets.

The show includes the headliner, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, along with The Woodstock Flashback Band and a world record attempt for most harmonicas playing the Ozark Mountain Daredevils song "Chicken Train." The first 1,000 early arriving concertgoers will receive a free Hohner Harmonica.

I'll admit, I found the cost of a ticket to the show a little bit surprising. I just sort of assumed tickets would be priced around $30-$35 dollars. Yet, looking at the other shows Ozark Mountain Daredevils have booked in Missouri, the prices are more or less on par with ticket prices to see them in Springfield with the Springfield Symphony and a show in St. Louis with Missouri and Shooting Star.

Of course, no fees, no parking costs, and the reality that you're not buying gas to go to a concert in Kansas City, Columbia, or St. Louis all are good things that can take the sting out of a slightly higher ticket cost. Especially since there's a good chance you'd be paying that ticket price anyway seeing them somewhere else.

If you're interested in going to the show on October 29, you can get tickets here.
