Members of Boy Scout Troop 54 took on a community service project Friday morning at Trails End Monument, 16th and Limit, on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
It's a 5k course and you can walk or run it. Now, since it's a color run, that means runners will be showered with colored powder, made of food-grade corn starch, at stations along the run. I think usually it's one color station every mile or so. So five miles, five stations, five colors.
So as you can see, they're switching it up a a bit. People around here really love any kind of outdoor activity, and as the summer is winding down there's always a want to see something exciting.
