So when I moved to Sedalia to take this morning show gig, one of the things I wanted to do was check out the local places for food and for sports.  Since I am from Chicago, I grew up watching the Chicago sports teams.  I am a huge Chicago Cubs fan, and I try and support the Bears and Bulls.  Obviously living in Missouri, which I had done for about 5 years earlier, it is rare that my team are on normal television.  I would have to get a special sports package for my cable to see them, hope that they are on National TV or go to the local sports bar.

Well that was what I did when I arrived in Sedalia.  Many of you are familiar with End Zone.  My colleague Mike Pettis told me about this place, and man was he right.  The food here was pretty amazing.  Here is what the place has to offer if you have never been there.

  • Daily specials available (drink and food)
  • 10 TVs and 3 projectors
  • Pool tables
  • A covered patio with outdoor seating
  • NFL Sunday Ticket
  • Karaoke every Tuesday

Now for more info on the menu click HERE and definitely check out Taco Tuesdays!  I stopped by there on Thanksgiving evening.  They were open and making sure that many who had no family to spend the holiday with, had a place to go for a really good Thanksgiving dinner.  There were quite a few people there and it was very nice to see.

So how about ringing in the New Year at the End Zone!  They are planning a event that will be worth your time.  Here is what will be going on:

Shea and Shorty will be performing live beginning at 8pm
Prize Giveaways
Steak and shrimp dinner special
Free Champagne at midnight!
This place is a lot of fun.  Jen and her staff will make you feel welcomed and it is sure to be a good time if you are looking for a place to watch the ball drop on 2021.  Bring on 2022!
